FEMS MICRO 2025 is Europe’s premier Congress & Exhibition for microbial research and collaboration. Join us in Milan, Italy, where our committed community will come together to develop impactful microbial solutions to humanity's greatest challenges.

What’s included in my FEMS MICRO 2025 registration fee?
All participants, regardless of whether they are a standard attendee or a paid partner, will have full access to our whole scientific programme and the Exhibition.
To make sure all our attendees have top-in-class opportunities to network, we are pleased to include catering within the registration fee. FEMS MICRO 2025 will provide complimentary lunch during each full day of the Congress & Exhibition, and a full range of refreshments each evening during the Networking Receptions. Regular tea and coffee breaks are also fully included as part of your registration fee.

Students: Students are those studying at undergraduate level or enrolled in a higher degree, including PhD students.
Speakers: Accepted Speakers for Interactive Sessions and Session Talks receive a €100 discount on the FEMS Members Early Bird registration fee.

All registration fees displayed include 22% VAT and are in Euro (€). Payment is required upon registration. We accept payments by credit card, and some Maestro cards. Payment by bank transfer can be made only on request and must be in Euros (€).
Payment must be paid in full by 30 June 2025. Any outstanding registration fees must be paid before admission to FEMS MICRO 205 will be granted. Registrations are only confirmed once the required payment has been received.

Cancellation of registration must be done in writing to FEMS at FEMS@parthen.nl.
The following cancellation fees apply:
On or before 14 May 2025 (23:59 CEST): 100% refund
From 15 May to 13 June 2025 (23:59 CEST): 50% refund
From 14 June 2025 to Congress start date: No refund
Any refunds due, will be processed within 30 days. Refunds will be made via the same payment method as used for the registration payment.
For those requiring a visa, FEMS can only refund your registration fees after the deadline, if you provide either of the following before 23 June 2025:
Copy of the visa refusal letter
Proof that you have tried to make an appointment before 2 June 2025 (6 weeks before FEMS MICRO 2025)

Name changes are permitted, free of charge up until 14 June 2025. For each name change you must notify FEMS at fems@parthen.nl. From 15 June onwards, name changes are permitted, but an administrative fee of € 25 will be charged.
